Description:  Level 2- Playing the Game

A significant step up -- players at this level maintain game integrity without coach intervention. With solid fundamental skills established, we shift focus to court awareness, refined footwork and body position, and executing a 4-2 offense. Players consistently hit with an approach, understand transitioning, work toward in-system play, and serve from the baseline. This level emphasizes focus, positioning, role understanding, and developing poise on the court.

Priority will be given to Franklin residents.

Our Clinic Philosophy

Our teaching of Volleyball comes from best practice and providing an environment for kids to learn from the game and have fun.

We emphasize a “learn by doing” approach by modeling a skill and providing time for players to replicate it in a realistic setting.

Players are also "engaged in creative small-sided games" where they can demonstrate learned skills in a fun environment.

We provide a structure where players are given multiple opportunities to "think tactically" based on what an opponent decides.

 Daily Schedule

Our daily schedule will include various volleyball training and related experiences for our players. We will provide multiple opportunities and diverse activities to ensure that kids will have fun while improving their skill set.

Technical Skills

Our training will focus on ability-level instruction in the following areas; Serving, Passing/Receiving, Setting, Attacking/Hitting, Blocking, Digging, Footwork, and Communication
