(1) Account Creation

Before registering for a course one must first create a player account on the Downtown Sports website.

  • Families: to ensure proper communication and registration, each child must have his/her own account on our website. Parents should create an account for one child, and create a second account for a second child, etc.
  • Returning players: please sign in using the existing account for that player; do not create a new account.

Note: Registration for some programs (e.g. Open Court) do not require that the account's email address is confirmed.

(2) Course/Camp Registration

Once a player has a Downtown Sports website account, that player can register for an event by doing the following:

  1. Log in to your player's account.
  2. Find an event for which you would like to register.
  3. Click "Register" to start the registration process.
  4. If not paying online, send payment to:

BASKETBALL >> Summer Basketball League

YBA Summer Basketball League Boys and Girls Grades 2-3

Location: Downtown Sports Court Category: Summer Basketball League

YBA - Basketball Summer League (9 Weeks) - Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 pm (6/24, 7/1, 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19)

For Boys and Girls Going into 2nd and 3rd Grade for the 2025-2026 School Year.

The goal of the YBA Basketball Summer League is to provide players an opportunity to improve foundational basketball skills and apply them in a game setting.

Each week, we will spend the first fifteen minutes re-teaching a skill, ex pass fakes, and then we will incentivize that skill during our (3) 15-minute games.

Games will be played on modified full courts to ensure more touches on the ball and a more active role with teammates.

Acknowledging that families occasionally take vacations, our teams will be re-created each week to maintain parity of play.

Parents who coach/officiate in our league will receive partial to full tuition reimbursement, depending on the number of weeks they can attend.

YBA Summer Basketball League Grades 4-5

Location: Downtown Sports Court Category: Summer Basketball League

 YBA - Basketball Summer League (9 Weeks) - Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 pm (6/24, 7/1, 7/8, 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19)

For Boys and Girls Going into 2nd and 3rd Grade for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Games will be either 6:00-7:00 or 7:00-8:00, depending on the numbers we get for the league.
