Advanced Adult Dance

Advanced Adult Dance- 6 weeks, Wednesdays, Sept 9-Oct 14th, 7:45-8:45pm- Cost- $90

This is a fun dance class geared toward adults with previous dance training.  Each week we will open with a warm up that will reinforce technique, strength and balance.  Then we will move on to choreography that will move at a fairly fast pace and progress each week.  Styles will include Broadway, Jazz, modern and more.  A great chance to dust off your dancing shoes while working the body and mind.  Previous dance training would be helpful but if you can dance to the beat - come check our class out!

Instructor:

Stacey Flaherty is a Franklin resident who has a passion for dance.  She graduated from Bridgewater State University with a degree in theatre and dance and holds an MA in costume design From Purdue University.  While in college she performed and choreographed for both Bridgewater and Purdue’s dance companies and has performed with numerous community and summer stock theatre companies.  While raising her family she moved into the fitness field and has taught cardio classes that focus on dance as well as strength, stretching and drumming classes.   She truly believes the key to feeling healthy and strong is to stay active in both -body and mind.  Dance is a perfect combination of both.
